I Love Star Wars
I saw The Empire Strikes Back when I was five, even though I had absolutely no idea what was going on so that doesn't really count. I watched them when they came on on Spike in order, that was actually 2 years ago. It...it was amazing. I'm a fan of both the Prequel Trilogy and Original Trilogy, I remember specifically watching The Phantom Menace and holding my breath during the pod race on Tatooine. I really didn't know much about the movies, it was breathtaking to see and experience it all for the first time.
Star Wars has become a major part of my life. Whenever I'm upset or having a bad day I can just go online and chat it up with people that have the same interest as me. It makes me feel like I really belong, like I really have somewhere where I'm not judged for what I like. It's an escape, almost, to another galaxy full of places and people to explore and learn about and stories to tell. When someone at school calls me a geek or a nerd, I say thank you. I would've broken down in tears a few years ago, but now it's ok. I take it as a compliment. No matter what, Star Wars is always there for me and won't judge what I say and do. With fanfiction, video games, The Clone Wars cartoon, books, and the movies, it's more than just a movie franchise. It's part of my life, part of me, and I won't be letting it go anytime soon.
