Best Author Today

I used to hate reading, I'd never pick up a book. But I had always LOVED the movie Shawshank Redemption, which I knew he had written. And I decided to read the short story it was based on and that got me reading again. Now, I've read all his books, my favorite is The Long Walk, it's such a great book, I always read it over every few years. And I've always had a place in my heart for Misery :)

The gunslinger sieries has been turned into a graphic comic book. he is the producer of it. the comic series reveals a lot of the story line. the man in black was a tutour who killed his fianicee who was caring his child and was also the man in white who started to great war. Don't forget he wrote the green mile, stand by me and hearts of atlatis.

"Misery" was great read and one of a few movie adaptations that are worthy of the book. I think Cathy Bates won a oscar for her portrayal of Annie.

The Long Walk I think is King's best along with The Stand .. Along with the Long Walk I like King's other "Bachman" Books too ... Rage, Roadwork and The Running Man. I always thought "The Long Walk" would make a great movie. I read somewhere when the movie "The Hunger Games" came out King said it kind of reminded him of his work "The Long Walk".

I have never read any of his book, maybe I will try one this summer. Reading is a great thing if you have the time to do it. I love to go on vacation and sit on the beach and read.

he is a good writer he has some of the best horror books i have read and has a gifted mind to put his self into your mind and soul.

I love S King, I think there are very few living authors with his variety. To me his scariest are Salem's Lot, The Shining and It. I just finished reading 11/22/63 and it was so romantic and trippy.
