Subway Helped Me Quit Smoking

When I quit smoking (June 06) I got these insane urges for intense flavors. I ended up "discovering" turkeybreast on wheat, with tons of spicy spicy mustard, extra extra pickles, black olvies, lettuce, and tomatoes.

On days when I felt like I was going to cave and go buy a pack of smokes, I would head to Subway instead and get my sandwhich. It was (is) the only thing that can completely curb the craving.

I work at subway and i smoke way less but every day i cant wait to run to my car and smoke a cigg....it feels so good.

I wouldn't have been able to stop in the first place if I hadn't been so sick I couldn't get out of bed for the first month. And I did use patches for about 3 weeks, but I didn't want to stay addicted to nicotine so I quit those too.

I knew patches and pills and whatnot wouldn't help me. The only way I ever get anything done is through sheer willpower. I have to be creative.

Hey weird is good in my book and actually weird is only a matter of perspective. <br />
