Hoopla Girl

In the summers the entire area around my house comes alive. the beaches are full and people come from everywhere. Lot of meet ups happen at the beach. On one of the meet ups introduced by a friend I was treated to a drumming circle. Everyone had their drums or stick and made this fantastic new sound that filled the beach on this beautiful summer evening. Then people started dancing as if in some form of a trance. What caught my attention most was these hoopla girls with shining bright hooplas dancing to the unorganized natural sound of different drums. Just sharing these pics here from that beautiful evening with the drumming circle at Sandy Hook, NJ.
