I Love Sushi
I love sushi . I could eat it four or five times a week.
My introduction to sushi came on the last day of May in 2008.
I went to dinner with a friend to celebrate my becoming an ordained member of the clergy. (Yes, I can marry people. I just don't.)
I tried it and was hooked like a fish.
The Japanese restaurant where I was introduced to this wonderful cuisine became my new stomping ground and I hosted many parties there. It was where I had dinner most nights while I was going through my divorce.
Sushi is my new comfort food. I love that it is different types of bite sized wonders. Many flavors and textures tightly rolled up into a little roll and sliced to see all of its wonderful colors. Served with wasabi, finely chopped ginger and light soy sauce and I'm in heaven. Good quality cold sake is best. Top off the evening with a glass of plum wine and it has been a perfect evening.
