Gochisoo Sama Deshita!

Nigri, maki oshi and chirashi sushi, makes me salivate. Who would have known that vinegar-mixed rice, nori and raw fish could taste so good, bless those geniuses in Japan.

Maguro (tuna) and Sake (salmon) are my favorites, like a true-blue Aussie I coyly pass on the eel, blowfish and sea urchin eggs (looks like a frilly tongue), something about placing a slimy eel and a cold tongue in my mouth creeps me out. But my hat goes off to those who can appreciate the taste. In my opinion Ikura (Salmon eggs) are a true gift from the Gods; beads of pure satisfaction in every pop.

mmmmm, love my sushi!

Itadakimasu! Gochisoosima deshita! mmmmmm Japanese

I was reluctant at first but now eel is my favorite!

I'm obsessed with it too!! i love the shrimp tempura and california roll of course. when i was in hawaii there was a place called Genkshi sushi and it was like a moving tray that went around and you sat and picked off the ones you liked. It was so cool. Once i got hot dog sushi, surprisingly tasty. I took my dad out to koto the other night and he foolishly ate some wisabi because he thought it was avacato. Everyone at the hibachi grill laughed. It was hilarious!!

at most sushi bars you can request, albeit defeating the purpose, for your eel to be broiled. and THAT my friend is delectable. however, my palate enjoys the tuna and salmon as well as lobster and crab ... mmm mmm good!
