Sushi is very expensive I know, but Its cheaper if you buy here in Japan or Asia .. There're sooo many kinda Sushi ! and beside, I love wakame (seaweed) too ;)

yuuumm. You're story is like a super love poem, to me.... I love sushi sooooo much - my whole body feels like a glow after I eat it & craves it's nutrients. *so expensive though* *sigh* but worth it!!

hehe~ good to hear that you are happy :)
Sushi is on the way ;)

very true :)
wow, started from sushi & now we reached out being Dr. lol

Hence why we all have our own talents. To each his own.

Oh! I'm scared of having & healing wound lol !
I've had many accidental experiences, they totally hurted ! T_T ...

Yes, white cap with a red cross on it. NOT!!!

I can heal your physical wounds, you can heal the emotional ones.

Great ! wow, i'm talking to a nurse ! (bit excited) lol !

No, I am not. I have decided after all these years to return to school to become a nurse. I do not need to be at the hospital until this afternoon.

ya ! I've never knew it before until I discovered myself few months ago lol ..
BTW, are u at work ?

Hey Drew, I should have known you like good eats.

Cherrie, that is wonderful. I think anyone who works with psyc or mental health is great. It takes a special talent.

Ya ? wow that's cool ! my best friend's BF also had worked in Japan as well .. I think you might know her LOL !

thks so much :)
but i'm going to graduate this Feb !
In US, i'd study master in psychotherapy :)
If you need to talk, Msg me anytime :)
(or maybe I'll msg you instead lol ! )

my bf lived in Japan for three years. he knows all the right things to order. over in japan, sushi places are like mcdonalds here. you can sit at your table and the stuff just rolls by on a conveyor belt.. you pick up what looks good.

i love salmon roe and eel the best.
yum yum

Well, thank you.

When I was in college, I had a good friend, Annie Wong. She was from China I believe. She taught me how to use chopsticks, cook stirfry, and many Chinese foods. She sparked my interest in foods beyond New England Potroast and Shepherds Pie. (Both heavy foods from the northeast USA).

To travel abroad for university is a wonderful thing. You should enjoy it, and make the most out of the academic opportunities. Grab life by the tail and hang on.

wow! that's great ! it's easier to make the decision by hearing from you like this ;) but I still have few months to check properly, and if there any unis which offer the same or even better scholar ! I'd definitely ask for your opinion ;) It's very nice to talk to you & make me feel like wanna eat sushi right now lol ...

TAKE IT!!!!!

UCLA is in a large, OK, Huge area, dense with people, cultural diversity, and activity to meet every season. A friend of mine went there, and still pines for it, even 20 years later. Will be a great introduction to the US, and help to expand your already worldly view.

I know there are incredible sushi places, as well as any thing else your heart desires. So welcome, and jump on the opportunity at UCLA.

I'm not sure about that yet but UCLA offers very good scholarship ! Do you have any suggestions ?

I knew I liked you.

I love the way the Japanese carefully wrap and package everything. It is like a special present with a small chocolate inside.

I hope you are moving to a large city. Small towns will disappoint your desire for good food. Here in the Southeast, everything is deep fried, smothered in gravy, and adds pounds.

I'm moving to USA next Feb :)
I'll buy some foods for you from Asia !
I'll choose something that will not expired before I reach US lol !

It was Jennys Noodle House in Houston Texas. Yes, Houston. This city has a large Asian community, with one section the street signs are written in a language I can not understand. There were stores which were pharmacies (I got my saffron for cooking there because it was SO MUCH cheaper). I loved it. My Hawiian friend would often guide us to more unussual stuff, and I was hooked.

No, never traveled abroad, but strongly desire it.

Oh! you've been there then ? which city ?
I love Thai food as well, actually, i love all food in the world LOL !

Thai, I forgot about Thai foods. The curries are wonderful. And there was a noodle house I used to go to. Cherrie, now you have me missing my old food haunts. Thanks for the gastronomic memories.

that sounds great ! but to be honest, i love dim sum as well, I'm japanese, chinese, thai mixed lol so I love chinese food especially, Dim sum ! they are super yummy ! ;)

Cherrie,

I would love to go to Japan. I have heard about Tokyo dining, and want to wander the small shops and eat all day.

I used to go for Dim Sum every Sunday, we had a Korean place near my old home, and love the fish and veggies from that part of the world. Spices too. The average American palate, atleast here in the Southeast US, does not seem to be fond of it however, so I will savor it when I can get it.

awww ! you makes me wanna go to Hawaii lol
but if you really love sushi, come to Japan one day !
many said Tokyo Sushi is the best :)

SSSSuuuuusssshhhhhhhiiiiiiiii

I just love good sushi. Unfortunately, there is so much bad sushi out there, and so many Americans like it cooked, and in a roll with so much sauce you can not taste the sushi. Sorry, that is not sushi. That is like calling Taco Bell Mexican food. Blech.

The best sushi I have had, believe it or not, was at a laundry mat in Hawaii, next to the waterfall they filmed for Fantasy Island. It was caught that morning, made infront of my eyes, and melted in my mouth. I have five other places around the country I love, but many I will not return to.

I love Korean lol !
Last time had 10 dishes of Kimchi !
Caused me the diarrhea in the next day !
but Koren BBQ is awesome ;)

Like them too, ever try kimchi ? Korean.lov it too chili paste..sake...Suchi yum.Korean barbecue is good..

ya! every meal of Sushi ?
I cant imagine !
Japanese themselves eat Sushi almost every day but not every meal ! They love Ramen as well ;)

It is in moderation. If you eat it consistently overtime there is a possibility of mercury poisoning. So one needs to enjoy it but with some good breaks in between, so once or twice a week is probably okay, but every meal of sushi would probably not be good! Enjoy!

Of course, it's gonna be fine :)
Sushi is always good for health ..

i will go tomorrow to an japanese restaurant and i will eat sushi...i guess it will be fine....who knows..

hehe ~

I love Tokyo Sushi too !

But I love All Sushi & Sashimi around the world ..

Yayaaa > < ~

Yeah.. you right.. i agree.. Japanese would not use. i guess Tsunami is very famous in Thai. now you made me to have a sushi-sashimi i wish i am in Tokyo now... Hugs*

California Maki ?

California pwns all

Tsnami is Japanese language but TSUNAMI Japanese restaurant can not belong to Japanese people ...
It's Thai's but it's very popular, you have to wait at least half an hour to get the seat OMG! I cant believe it !
Normally Japanese would name something like Fuji, Zen, Yamajin ,...etc which implicates Japanese tradition or their country's identity :)

Now S.E.A has been recovered already but some parts still not the same :) Hugss **

yeah.. normally Japanese would never name SASHIMI... so direct.. TSUNAMI is originally Japanese , mean a big wave... but now days. it it an international language. Speaking which about Tsunami.. are you okay now.. I know some parts are not recover from the earth quake.. Hugs*

Yeah Hal~
Nomally Japanese wouldn't name like that, There's one Japanese Restaurant here called TSUNAMI, of course it cannot be Japanese right ? Hugs

hey.. you know me.. i love SUSHI and SASHIMI.. did i tell you when i went to Mexico City i found the Japanese restaurant called, SASHIMI.. i don't think any Japanese would name .. SASHIMI.. .. do you agree Cherrie? so i had ask who won the spot. and i was right.. the place was own by Arabian people. Hugs*

^ ^
