For many years it didn't make sense to me, why eat raw fish? Fortunately I was embarrassed into eating Sushi for the first time maybe 10 years ago. I love, I have to have it no less than once per week. Ive become a bit of a snob because I will refuse to eat any that's not top quality. Like all foods I have my likes a dislikes but cant image my culinary life without it. For me a great bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and any any sushi starts the perfect night. Its fun to turn non lovers onto an amazing place and then order what you know will blow a first timer away. You can see the change come and suddenly "they love it", and are hooked. If its been a really good night and you know the staff doing Saki Bombs at the end of the night is the perfect topping to an amazing evening. I need to go tonight as I think about it.
