Gotta Wonder

Well... here it is the end of Mother's Day. And ya gotta wonder ...

I love swords. I was learning some basic swordsmanship years ago and have always loved the feel of a hilt in the palm of my hand.

I have a few favorites; the scimitar, the claymore. But, by far, my favorite has always been the rapier.

Back to today... my youngest son is way too much like me at times. In the past my gifts on MD have included, skull and cross bones earrings, a oak handled dagger,  dragon earrings and pendant. But today... he topped himself.

He presented me with a beautiful rapier.

Gotta wonder.. what does that say about me as mom? or my son...

 LOL...

 dunno, just going to enjoy.
