I Love Tattoos and Piercings
I've always admired artwork and using the human body as a canvas...... I often stop and ask people about their artwork and they are always happy to share the experience and meaning behind it. However, I've always been scared to get my own.
Well that all changed last week end. After the love of my life died on March 9th I went through weeks of horrific nightmares, depression and self abusing behavior. I am tormented by the visions of seeing him die and seeing his pups sweet little face as the car sunk deeper and deeper in to the lake we loved so much. I go to that spot almost every day, and have for years - so I made a memorial out of rocks and flowers in his honor. Some people are jerks and tear it down or scatter it and steal the flowers.
Last week it popped in to my head that the most sacred memorial I could do was to get a tattoo in his memory. So my remaining fishing buddy and I drove to her shop and we both got memorial tattoos in his memory. Mine however has FEM fatale above it - a play on words using his initials. He told me on many occasions that he wanted to die in the arms of his femme fatale, which was me...... and he did........ I was the last one he held in his arms before he drove in to the lake..........
anyway - all tattoos have personal meanings behind them and that is mine. We are together forever in this as my tattoo is permanent and will never leave me...........
