I Love Tattoos

My Skin

I love the fact that I can change my skin into something totally unique.  I have a large back piece in the works and just knowing that my back already looks totally like ME, and like no one else anywhere in the world makes me feel totally free. 

I work in a professional setting so all of my work can be covered with clothes, but there's nothing like sitting in a meeting, skirt and jacket...high heels and laptops...no one knows what's under my clothes but me.

    I love when a persons Tattoo says something about that person. I especially love that the one you have is unique, many people get the generic tattoo from the books that others have already had. I just started a large coverup of two tattoos (into one huge one) that really are not me at all and were done when I was like 21. They were a bad mistake but now when I am done I will love the new look.

      Wow peppermint gal that is a very sexy scenario you just painted there. I love the fact that it gives you a thrill and those back tattoos are just simply awesome!

    With the exception of two small ones on either wrist, mine are all hidden as well. I like the fact each of the tats I have mark some important part of my life. I can think of them and remember where I was and what they mean to me both literally and figuratively. I can't wait for the next. Eventually I plan on them creating a cohesive whole. Smiles...did that even make sense? Oh...and your piece is incredible!

    Tattoos are generally not my cup of tea - most are badly done or profess loyalties which are seldom held forever (the grand gesture) or else they represent, deliberately or unknowingly a tribalism that is responsible for so much harm in the world.



    Some are art.



    Yours are art.



    I love art.



    But you won't see me getting one !! :-)

    Hey thanks :) Some of my piece is in my photo album..it's public...have a look if you want!



    One of the reasons I put my tats in places i can conceal is so I can be what I need to be in the moment. At work, the only reason anyone knows I have them is because I've told them (or they've seen a teeny bit sticking out). Still, I love your attitude! Who cares what they think. :):):)

    I think me and you are on the same page. I would love to see the tattoo on your back when its finnished. I just got a small one on my back just abouve my hip. I know a lot of people who love tattoos unfortunatly I know a lot of people who look at people with tattoos like they are the anti christ. But who cares what they think. I hope you get all the tattoos you want.
