Thanksgiving Tradition

I have a very large family on my mom's side. Our grandparents had nine children. Mom only had my sister and me. But the rest of her brothers and sister had multiples of children. One of them is my uncle, who has a farm and has 12 children. Most of us have grown up now as well and have children of our own. My uncle and my aunt have a big Thanksgivings meal, where they provide all the food for everyone. There are area ministries, which provide for a full Thanksgivings meal for needy people for as little as $25. Our tradition has been to buy a dinner for each member of our family and donate it to our area ministries. Not everyone can afford to pay for each member of their family, but still we were able to provide over 100 meals. Many of them going to families of sailors on active duty overseas.
