Big Island Treasure

On the secluded southeast coast of theThe Big Island there is a hidden black sand beach still untouched by the spoils of mankind.  No bathrooms no parking lots just a path of pahoehoe that a truck can use to reach the beach.  A true piece of old Hawaii.  I find myself driving down this path almost daily as the sun breaks the horizon.  I am on my way for my morning surf at one of the most special places i have ever been. No crowds, no hassels nothing but aloha.  I gain a new respect for life, nature, all of it everyday.  It gives me an inner strengh that i am able to transfer into my day and a feeling of such contentment and inner peace that no matter what happens everything is exactly how it should be.
