The Ocean Is My One True Love

Some of my earliest memories are of going to the beach with my family. I've loved the ocean since I was tiny. My parents said they'd have to drag me out at the end of the day and I'd be kicking and screaming. I always feel like I'm home again when my feet touch that warm white sand and I hear the crash of the waves on the shore. I love everything about the beach; the scent of the salt air, the gentle hiss of the whitecaps curling in and out, the sunlight on my shoulders, and the seagulls squawking and fighting for bits of picnic food. When I'm floating in the middle of that vast ocean, I feel like I become one with it. It's a bond that I just can't explain. If I could spend every minute, every hour, and every day wandering along the shore I'd be perfectly content. I hope that when I die I get to haunt it...and if I don't I hope that Heaven has a beach.

I grew up at the beach too and you made me wish to be there so much. I agree with everything you said and I feel the same way. Just everything about the beach is wonderful, relaxing, peaceful...definitely something magical about the beach. I think I've spent the happiest days of my life at the beach. It's had to believe that some people don't like it. How is that even possible? I want to go to the beach right now! I want to live at the beach now & forever.
