Just Right

I love turning off all the lights in my room, closing the windows (although this really only works at night -- light seeks through the curtains otherwise), putting on some extremely quiet music and lying down in bed with the covers pulled up to my chin. It's the only time I ever feel completely relaxed and at peace. These days it's one of the only things that I want to do every day. It has to be completely dark, too. Any light coming in from under the door or tiny LEDs from electronics become big distractions and they actually hurt my eyes, so I try to make sure that the room is free from those sorts of distractions. I can spend long periods of time doing this, and yes I do fall asleep quite often, but I always wake up feeling refreshed.
