For The Dreamers Out There

Last night, by a stroke of luck, I happened to see the film Julie and Julia. I'm a foodie and a fan of Julia Child, but what appeals to me most about this unique and very well done film is that it inspires the dreamer in me. One dream inspires another, and humans triumph by following their passion.

I agree Tekkamaki, Meryl was amazing.
Yet, seeing the effect that she had on Julie, another human in another place and time, was what made the story brilliant. To live our dreams and follow our passions is a great thing, but to do so and inspire another is truly beautiful.

Oh it does make you want to go out and do something ambitious with your dreams. Meryl Streep was amazing as Julia and her Joy De Vivre! I wanted to just watch an entire movie of just her as Julia Child.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I think I'll make a point of it after reading this!
I never want to let go of that which is in us that drives us, inspires us, to follow our passion.

I agree, that marriage had me sprouting tears of envy and inspiration.

I loved the marriage of Paul and Julia. What a brilliant man to love, so deeply, the unconventional beauty of Julia and in turn Julia's passionate respect for Paul was so touching. On many levels it was truly a delicious movie.

I shall!
I do...
Duh? Why wouldn't it? :)

You must!
You know how I am about movies.....
This one, though, really struck a chord with me.

You saw it? Damn it! I wanted to see it first. I may just have to watch it now. :)
