This Is A Timeless Classic. I'd Recommend It To Anyone, Gal Or Fella.

When I was nine, sometimes I'd come across this show while looking to watch a morning kids show. I'd watch a couple of minutes, and continue flipping.

I wish I hadn't.

Last spring, I realized what I had missed when I came across an episode on Hallmark, and I was hooked. This is a very clever comedy. It is timeless, easy to relate to (especially if you're female, but I think anyone could), and unlike most sitcoms, it isn't cheesy. Most older sitcoms I could handle for a few months and then get sick of them. Not the Golden Girls. I'll watch the same episodes over and over; I've seen most, but not all of them.

I can't stop grinning/laughing at the witty comments the girls make, or at Rose's Dt. Olaf stories. :D Makes me wish there was really a place like that, just so I can go there and get a t-shirt. :)

It's so realistic, even for a comedy. And you can compare people in your real life with the characters on the show. I do it all the best friend (who is gay) and I joke that he's like Blanche. XD He imitates her all the time. :)

It's a shame to see most of our angels go. :( Rue, Bea, and Estelle, rest in peace.

And Betty...just so you know...girlfriend, you kick ***! We love you. :)
