I Love The Hunger Games Books
This trilogy was one of the best I've read!! I would say, although I didnt like it more then Twilight, I loved the characters more.
i think my only reluctance to put this book in my favorites, is not because of the first or second book, its that third one. My gosh, when I was reading it, I was amazed and excited and then it got to the ending... and it just ended.
I'm sure that makes no sense to someone who hasnt read it so I will explain in a different way:
Imagine watching a movie about the Holocaust (I know, I know, just bare with me) and the beginning is so emotional, the main Jewish character gets taken away from his home (by the way this book is NOTHING about the Holocaust lol!! Just an example) anyways, gets taken away from his home after we watched him struggle for years trying to stay away from the Nazi's, hiding and dealing with so many hardships, were crying, were laughing with joy when he slips through their fingers, were grabbing he edges of our seats praying this guy doesnt get caught, but then he does! OH NO HOW HORRIBLE! They are going to take him away... and he hits his head and faints.... okay... then he wakes up.. the Holocaust is over everyone is happy have a nice day.
WHAT!?!?
This is how the last book ended. I wanted to throw the book at my wall and scream. Instead I just sat there staring and the book thinking... no way. AS IF! lol
Anyways all in all a good series, better ending would have made this into my top 3.
