I have always loved anywhere that has a lot of books, be it the library or a bookstore. When I was little, I used to spend hours upon hours in our local library or the school's library. Some of the best memories I have as a child are sitting in a bean bag chair with a bunch of books, escaping the world for just a few precious moments. Whenever my afterschool program would announce that it was "free time," the library was always the first place I wanted to go.
Today it's still the same. I love going to the library, I love being at the library. Being around all of those books is a great comfort to me. I can escape the world and not have to think for a while. It's always been a place of peace for me. And it's free! Which is great since I'm a poor college student, and I can't really afford to spend 20 dollars on books that I may or may not like. This way, I can read whatever I want, (almost) whenever I want, and not have to pay a dime. Then if I really like it, I can buy it and add it to my own personal library.
