've been a NY Mets fan since the early 80's. I started watching games with my sister during summer vacation. We had fun watching a pitifully bad team evolve into a contender who won the 86 series. I still enjoy seeing the comeback in game 6... which gave them momentum to win game 7. I've followed their ups and downs ever since. The last 2 years have been heart breakers, I am cautiously optimistic they could do well this year however I think that they may need to also depend on the misfortunes of other teams if they're going to make the playoffs.
