The Ocean Is My Escape

There's this incredible thing about the ocean . 

it's both terrifying and calming at the same time.

it is an end of something (land) yet it is endless. 

 when it is bright and sparkling, it is beautiful.  when it is a black, relentless shadow it is beautiful.  the waves can lap gently in soothing rhythm or the tide can rise and the waves can swell in its display of amazing power. 

The ocean makes me want to cry.
