The Paranormal In My Life.

I have been facinated by occult and supernatural subjects since a very young age. I first became interested in ghosts and haunted houses in childhood, but by the time I was a teenager, my main interest shifted to the UFO/flying saucer phenomenon. By the time I was in college, my interests included ancient astronauts, lost continents, hollow/inner-earth civilizations and historical mysteries in general. At the same time, I developed a curiousity about witchcraft and all varieties of paganism. Over the years, I have become knowledgeable concerning such subjects as Fortean phenomenon, cryptozoology, psychic powers & parapsychology, as well as all types of mythology and occult philosophy. I am also intrigued by UFO religions, Nazi occultism and the whole field of cults, conspiracies and secret societies. Needless to say, I have accumulated quite a collection of books on such things.
Now, I must make it clear that I am Agnostic in regard to all belief systems. I am neither a hard-headed debunker, nor a wide-eyed (or wild-eyed) true believer; I term myself an open-minded skeptic. Over the course of my life, I have had to tell people over and over that just because I own books on strange subjects, I do not accept everything I read as literal truth.
Any and all comments and opinions are welcome-- I will greatly appreciate your reply...

It is very tiresome that so many "religionists" fail to recognize that witchcraft and paganism are separate and distinct from satanism.

I really don't remember when I got so interested but I do remember being called a satanist in my own church and my own mother threatening to kill me if she found out I practice witchcraft when I did start reading on that staff.now she just leaves me alone since I have not lived with since about 3yrs and we moved a way from that place would say more or less then 10 yes

I wish I could answer your question. I have long been intrigued by psychic phenomena, and would love to get an explaination for the incidents you mention. Mysteries like that have facinated me most of my life. Anyway, thanks for your reply...

Hello, I have been blessed/cursed with the ability to feel strange things. I have almost died 2 times in the last year and it seems that it has increased with the close calls. I believe in Jesus Christ and I know that he has healed me many times over. Anyway, I was going to ask, My being sensitive makes me feel, smell, hear, see, and dream all kinds of stuff! Does this leave a door open for things to contact me or let me know something is there?

I was sitting here watching Ghost Adventures and started to smell a mans cologne. My boyfriend was watching it with me and he hadn't showered or put cologne on that day. This house is his Great Grandparents house, do you think that his grandmother and grandfather is trying to contact me?

Oh, there was another instance when in the bathroom I have put all but one perfume sprays in the bottom cabinet. I came back and the bottle I had put down there was back on the sink rim again! This is also where his great grandmother kept her perfume. Is it possible that she was letting me know she like the smell of the spray or does she think she still lives here and that was her perfume?
If you can help answer some of these questions let me know I would love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for the comment!
As I have stated in the past, I am not, strictly speaking, a "believer" in anything. One the other hand, I am extremely open-minded about the possibility of anything and everything. I greatly hope that there is an afterlife, as the existence of such a thing would make this life much more meaningful. Later...

Do you believe in the spirit world. Meaning do you believe loved ones can and will contact you after they die. Read Hello from Heaven and journey of the souls. I am very interested in what you think about the af terlife.

On July 11, 2011, my wife died at the age of 56, due to a sudden, massive stroke. Some days I wish she could converse with me from the "spirit world, astral plane, afterlife etc." I really miss her, and I have so many things I would like to tell her.
