I Love the Rain

Rain speaks on its own, you only have to listen and feel. Some days it's sad, angry, when others it's content. Tells of things with it's melody. Rain is replenishing and enjoyable. It smells like nothing else. I love walking in and sitting outside during a nice rainfall whether it be heavy or a light drizzle.

    I agree! I love watching thunderstorms blow in-- it's one of nature's greatest light shows-- and I love listening to the hymn of rain music. I love the fresh smell of coming rain, the tickle of raindrops on my skin, and the way that everything seems to gain a mysterious beauty when it is viewed through a silver curtain of rain. Can there be anything more spiritually rejuvinating than walking in a springtime drizzle or curling up with a good book while rain drop sing at the windowseal? I don't think so, and I've never figured out why so many people find rain to be uncomfortable, dislikable, or sorrowful.

      WildMagic I'm surprised I haven't replied to you after your amazingly true comment. You may not get an alert for my reply but thank you. There really isn't anything more spiritually rejuvenating than the picture you've created in my mind. There's something so crisp, fresh, and serene about it. Right now it's raining pretty heavily, I just might go and read while I have these novels from the library. Hope to talk to you later.

    kiss the rain by billie myers.....awesome!! i like the rain alot...as i've been collecting all songs about the rain..and i always listen to them when it is raining outside...

    I can feel the electricity in the air when it rains and it makes me feel so good. There is absolutely nothing like it.
