have watched CSI since episode one. In the beginning, my mother and I watched it together. It was our ritual Then she started watching Survivor, and that stupid show ruined it for us. neither of us is capable of sitting for that long of a period of time and watching television, so she quit watching CSI.She quit, but I continued. Through a lot of it, I didn't have any way to record it, so I was obsessed with bring home at least 30 minute before it started, so I could make sure I was settled in to watch it and not miss a minute.
Even today, it is one of the few shows that I watch (as opposed to listen to while I do other things).
The original is the best! I had a thing for Grissom right from the start (hey, i know i have a thing for nerdy guys, even if they are fictional). Plus, he is all about the bugs, and I have a things for bugs myself, lol.
The show is not all about gore and shock value (unlike Miami, i think). It shows just enough, and leaves just enough to the imagination. They handle very odd situations in a tasteful way.
My only complaint is Sara... something bugged me about her from the beginning. And no, its not a jealousy thing, lol. I just don't like her. I was thrilled when the show hinted at a relationship (of any nature) with Lady Heather.
