I Love The Water

I love being around water, being near the humid air, the salty breeze
The continuous building of it being evaporated
To having it suddenly break
And pour down around me
Something wicked this way comes,
Is never something wicked to me
The green light as it goes to darkness
The green water and the white beaches of the places I have been
I love being in water
The tranquil lucidity
The beauty of it as it caresses me
As it touches me
To be submerged in it
The beauty of its all encompassing silence
Watching it in its deafening power
As it slowly takes everything back home.
