The Music Of My Youth

It's funny how many chang's you go through in life and music seem's to have come full circle. I grew up listening to country and southern gospel mostly as they were the first music I heard at home. As I grew older it was rock and roll sush as The Rightous Brothers and the Everly Brothers and moved up to Credence and Three Dog Night but with the exception of a fwe song's here and there lost interest with Disco and Hard Rock and am honest enough to sat that I cant stand Rap. As I get older I seem to be drawn back to my root's. I am now back to listening to Gospel, mostly on the Gaither Gospel Hour but having trouble finding other older music. YouTube has helped alot as I can find old song's posted on there. Then I started hitting second hand shop's, yard sale's and the goodwill and looking through the pile's of odl album's, YES I tell myself when to me I hit the jackpot. Henry Mancici or Floyd Cramer who the kid's in the music store had never heard of.

I now have a pretty good collection of my old friend's that I grew up with. I go into my little music room, put on Chuck Berry or Three Dog Night or who ever I am in the mood to listen too, hit the play button and go back in time to a flood on memorie's of my youth. Who said you can never go back. I do, at least in my mind.
