Here in Florida you learn to be a weather watcher between hurricanes and the lightning. I just love it and love tracking it. I'm currently teaching my son about it as it's a requirement in kindergarten that they be able to distinguish between seasons and such. Every day we talk about what it is supposed to be like and then, at the end of the day, what we actually had. Be it rain, sun, wind etc he's learning it all.
