I'm a big Joss Whedon fan; I basically think he's a god among mere mortals, so him directing The Avengers and the sequel seem very fitting to me. :)

I first became a fan of all things Joss with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. Paul Reubens' death is still one of the funniest things I've seen on screen. Then, of course, I watched the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series on the WB and then UPN (both merged to become CW).

Although not a huge fan of the group Garbage, I love Shirley Manson's voice, and The World is Not Enough is another favorite Garbage song of mine. Temptation Waits was in an episode of Buffy, and it played recently on my iPod. The driving beat and lyrics speak to me, and I enjoy getting lost in the music. It is a very sensual song to me, and a good friend of mine from college told me the song reminds him of me. I'm taking that as a compliment, I think. ;) The chorus reminds me of a few people, too.

You know me and Joss Whedon ... though I will now admit, once and for all and ***** me of my fan title if you so desire, that I was never really into Buffy.
