Music And It'S Sounds

Many songs have meaning to me, depending on my mood, the time of day, and whats going on in life. You either enjoy the music for its beat or its sound but most of the time I've noticed people listen to music that they relate to especially when nobody is around. Whether its the loss of somebody or a memorable day, the lyrics that speak to me lately are inspirational, but at this very moment one song speaks to me, ever since I became a paraplegic. This song most likely isn't even related to what I'm thinking about when I listen to it but that's not completely what music is about, it's about expressing your feelings, what's in your heart and your soul. Now without further ado here are a couple of lyrics that help me get through the day and make me think that it could me much much worse.

" It's everything you wanted it's, everything you don't. It's one door swinging open and one door singing closed. Some prayers find an answer and some prayers never know. We're holding on and letting go"

This song is called holding on and letting go and it's by Ross Copperman. It makes me realize if I don't walk, it's okay; I have friend's and family. I can cope and live a normal life I might not be able to do everything I've wanted to do like become a professional singer or maybe even an actress but I have other interests than that like what i'm doing right now, writing. Through the past year writing my emotions have helped me through a lot. I'm not saying I don't have hope i'm not going to walk. I do. and I will eventually I have confidence in that, I just have to work at it and i'll reach my goal. Either way, whatever happens, that's going to be the next chapter in my life and no matter the hard spots, I have to keep moving.
