part of it, in the first verse goes, "Tides that I've tried to swim against have pulled me down onto my knees, oh I beg, I'm beggin please..." just really speaks to me about being in denial over something that you know is an inevitable outcome and trying not to believe it, and then when it happens, you are brought to your knees crying out in pain. Something I can relate to as of late :(
