John Frusciante - Dying Song

I'm going away forever
I'm going away forever
Never coming back this way
Never coming back to this place

What I need is a heaven
What I really need is a heaven
A place to go where I can really be
A place to go where I can really be
Where I can really be

Dreaming my life away counts for nothing
Dreaming my life away counts for nothing
But nothing ever is the end
No, nothing ever is the end

It's sure been a full life for me baby
It's sure been a full life for me yeah

Ah, nice! It looks like a cool place, I just found it on Google Earth :P<br />
I haven't read about the guitar yet. I will.

Oh, I'm at this place next to the sea called portsmouth. The university is nearby, so I will go there tomorrow. I hope this journey will have been worth it. Have you read about the guitar I found whilst here? It's in my blog.

Cool that you're spreading his music. Where did you go? I'm curious.

Haha don't worry. I tried to get my parents into him on the journey in the car by playing his music. At first, they were like meh, but by the end of the journey, both of them admitted that he is good.

Now you make me feel bad. I'm no decent fan at all!

I own...7 of them. Wow, I didn't expect so many. I found only 3 of them in the shops though. Strange, seeing as he is such a respected guy. I have the impression of that anyway, even though my friends don't know who he is.

I think his music makes me poetic :) How many of his albums do you own then? I'm very sad to say that I don't own a single one of them. Seems like I can only find them in online shops so I will just have to get all of them there.

"It gives me the sense of floating through the darkness of space."<br />
What a poetic description. I would like to by the cd with this song too, but it is so rare! I found it on amazon for around £50 + and can't pay that much.

I'm not entirely sure what this song is about, but OOOH I just became addicted. I like how the lyrics are easy to follow and understand because they are being repeated. And Frusciantes voice is just so insanely beautiful. It's so clean and so versatile. I also really like the chord progression in the song and the experimental sounds. It gives me the sense of floating through the darkness of space. Thank you for sharing! :) I want to buy all his albums in physical form to support the man. This is so wonderful. And that choir of Frusciantes in the background towards the end of the song is just wow.
