Portishead, the Rip

As she walks in the room,
Scented and tall,
Hesitating once more.
And as I take on myself,
And the bitterness I felt,
Realise that love lost, while
White horses,
They will take me away,
And the tenderness I feel,
Will send the dark underneath,
Will I follow?
Through the glory of life,
I'm scattered on the floor,
Disappointed and sore.
And in my thoughts I have bled,
For the riddles I've been fed,
Another lie moves over, while
White horses,
They will take me away,
And the tenderness I feel,
Will send the dark underneath,
Will I follow?

While, white horses,
They will take me away,
And the tenderness I feel,
Will send the dark underneath,
Will I follow?

I know, it's so hard to pick one favorite by them, the singing, lyrics and music all go so well together. And some of the songs are so heartfelt, and specific to certain emotions. Roads is a great song, I have the Live at the Roseland DVD, just as nice to watch them play as to listen to the c.d.

I adore Portishead. Music, lyrics, so heartfelt. 'Roads' would probably be my favorite song if I can only pick a favorite!

Yep, thanks for commenting Angel, they are labeled under electronica. Just good music, good lyrics and the singer has a beautiful voice in my opinion. :-)
