Braised Chicken With VegatablesOne of my favorites and so healthy too.
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
4 Chicken drumsticks,skinned
1 Cup Chicken broth,defatted
3/4 teaspoon cornstarch
2 cloves garlic,peeled and minced
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 1/2 Tablespoons seasoning blend(saltfree)
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 BIG yellow squash
All Veggies cut length-wise
1.Place lemon juice,chicken and broth i large skillet.Cover and cook over medium heat 15 mins;turn chicken twice.
2.Mix cornstarch with 1 Tablespoon water and add to pan with garlic,rosemary,seasoning blend and paprika.Cook and stir 1 minute.
3.Add veggies,stir.and cover skillet.Heat until ,chicken is cooked through and veggies are tender,about 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve over rice.
