The Smell Of It

The air around it, the way it always seems to be moving while seeming completely still. I just love to be around or near water. I was born on an island, and moved to a peninsula. When I move again, I have to be in a place that has bodies of water, or somewhere near the coast. I love water.

Oh yeah, the humidity and the hair down here makes my face go like : Dx. I've never been around dry dry air, it must seem so different. Yay for you!

Wow the coast of Spain, that sounds amazing!! It really is. Ahhh well a river is still water eh? Very ambitious to travel around the world, good for you Mel!

Lol, the dirt of the rednecks!! Ah, don't you miss the cooler temperature of being close to water??

I agree with you both! I have lived in Hawaii and on the Coast of Spain and there is nothing that can replace the ocean and the beach. It's relaxing, soothing, calming. A great place to meditate and dream. Now I'm landlocked in the Midwest with just the muddy Mississippi River nearby. But in 4 years, I hope to begin traveling around the world and I'll make it a point to be on or near a beach and the ocean. <br />

Best Wishes! Mel

I love sand, it's so much better than plain old dirt. I hope you're not talking about New York?

Ah you need to get away from the concrete living and get back to the wet grasslands! With that sea breeze :D
