Apple Tarts

I want my first story I write on here to be happy so I will share about my homemade Apple Tarts. I've always loved cooking and baking for as long as I can remember. Most likely because I've loved eating for as long as I can remember. Desserts have always held a special place in my heart though. One day about a year ago for some reason we had this pre-made piecrust in the fridge and by chance a bag of apples. I was on a sugar RAMPAGE but there was nothing to be found in the house to satisfy my food lust and then it hit me. Pie... My eyes darts around deviously as a rubbed my palms together. However... I was a bit lacking in supplies. I had nothing to bake the pie in! Oh no... Then it hit me. I will make little mini pies and put them on the cookie sheet! Well I started to make them in various different shapes: circles, triangles, rectangles, and then HEARTS! I put those aside into the fridge. Then I diced up the apples into little tiny cubes and put them in a saucepan with sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and a tiny pinch of allspice. I boiled it down into a thick syrupy apple rape in your mouth and then spooned the apple cubes and syrup mixture into the mini pies. I then took a flat cutout to match each shape but smaller and placed it over the top of each one. At this point I realized. I had made apple tarts! I baked them until golden brown. As I pulled them from the oven I must have been drooling. Omg. To this day I do not like anyone's apple desserts like I do mine. They are amazing! Now I make a topping for them out of cool whip, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. o.o Just. o.o
