Spices Anyone?

i am thinking about opening a spice store. a place wher u could purchase spices, from around the world, as well as exotic extracts and rubs. i would offer custom blending and maybe even throw in a couple of cooking classes aweek to help supplement the bussiness. i have over 30 years professional experience in the culinary field. before investing in a store i would love to know if there was a way to test my theory that such a store could make it any advice, questions or comments would be appreciated thank you

We have a store like that nearby, but they don't offer classes! I think that would be a wonderful way to boost business. I mean, the better people now how to use something, the more they will buy it! Plus, lots of people love cooking courses! The spice shop out here does well. It's pretty pricey, but it's in a more upscale area, so the local there can afford it! Lol plus, there is a lot of diversity near the city, which helps the business as well. I notice this story is a couple of years old, but if you haven't done it yet, I hope you will follow your passion and find success!

thank u so much 4 your advice. is cooking your passion too?
