I have been thinking about how wonderful it would be to go to a gathering or party where everyone knows and accepts me as Julie. I could just mingle with guys and girls being the woman I desire to be with no pressure other than to be myself. Laughing and giggling with the other girls and talking about things that are important to us or chatting with the guys in a different way as I could probably get their full attention as Julie.If one of them hit on me .that would be flattering but tonight I am just happy to be out as a woman ...so Happy.

    I have gone out to the mall and to dinner dressed as a woman and had a fun by my self but I would love to do it with a bunch of real women

      I have with a bunch or women and it is go great being accepted simply as another woman in the group of us.

    I think this scenario that you described would be a kind of ideal situation. I sometimes wonder about going to one of these crossdresser conventions that take place in various locations in the United States. Maybe these would provide this effect.

      I know, I think about how nice it would be to go to a CD convention where we are free to be our feminine selves.

      Those cross dressing events are the places to go. I went to some in Minnesota when I was traveling and you get to meet people just like yourself, and you will get a lot of info about everything going on around the area.
      I met a lot of great women and men there.

    Thank you everyone for all of your comments and suggestions. I am in Canada in a small town so would have to travel but that wouldn't be so bad for a night out or more, no not at all. Hugs

    When I lived in Indiana there was a club in Ft. Wayne. You could dress up and go and have a very relaxing night with other crossdressers. I believe it was call The After Dark or After Hours. Anyway it was a great place to go.

    thats what i love about it here in michigan, there are all kinds of clubs and bars to go to where i can be myself and as girly as i want to be

      Understand there is a shop in Manchester (don't know the name) where a guy can go & have a full make over & spend the day made up & dressed as a woman

      If that is Manchester UK, then the area down by the cannal (was it called gaytown or something?), is fabulus; I liced there briefly, over a decade ago; The gay clubs round there, you dress as you want, noone would bat an eyelid; cabbys wouldn't even notice if you got in their taxi and were cross-dressed, dressed as a baby, or wearing a two thousand pound designer suit... I found it a very relaxed area, and feel to the whole place, but as I say, this is now, err over a decade or so ago, so I guess it may have changed... Some bits of London, like Camden have a simular vibe to them, where no one cares about what or how anyone else wants to act... damnit, now I'm wanting to cross-dress more, I find myself stuck in a provincial town where this is sadly not the case...

      I was told about the shop , not its name or teh area it was in
      Told it was an expensive experience but felt so good

    I so know how you feel, I would love to be able to do the same thing and now I am taking baby steps to get there, But it's a little tougher here in a small town area.

      You need to advertise your town at least and then others like you will get in touch from close by towns. Thats the only way you will ever get to know other cd;s and get to meet them.

      I have been telling others that I am near Warren, Pa (which is not a big town in itself and the other 2 towns of Clarendon and Sheffield are much smaller and are the closest towns near me with Erie being 70 miles away
