Change Your Mind.

Exercise is more than crunches. You don't need a gym membership. You don't need money. You just ...do.....something.....anything, that gets you going. There are many activities out there that will tone you and burn off calories. So don't make excuses. Stand up and go do something fun.

It's a mindset.

I have big dogs to walk. I commute every day to work on a bicycle year around, and ride an hour at lunch, so you are right you certainly do not need a gym membership.
I have one though. I arrive every weekday on my bike at 5 and exercise till 6. If you can make some friends there they can be an encouragement for you. I lift more and run faster because of them. If I am late, I know they will give me a hard time. Heaven forbid I do not show up at all. I will have to have a wrist band from the hospital proving that I was there. Even then they will say I am a wimp for not hitting the gym before they admitted me. :)
