Double Ka Meetha (bread Pudding)

This is how we make bread's a local delicacy and i hope you're like it..



Loaf of Bread 1

Milk 1 litre

Sugar 500gms

Double cream 250gms

Pure ghee 250gms

Chopped & roasted cashew nuts 100gms

Almonds (soaked and chopped) 100gms

Saffron 10gm

Cardomom powdered 5



  • Cut each bread slice into four pieces. Fry them in clarified butter till golden brown.

  • Make a sugar syrup by adding half a litre of water to the sugar and boil it for 15 minutes. Add the powdered cardamom and the saffron dissolved in milk to the sugar syrup.

  • Boil milk until it is thickened.

  • Arrange the fried bread pieces on a flat tray and sprinkle the chopped nuts on them. Pour the sugar syrup, double cream and milk alternately over the bread pieces while they are still hot.

  • Refrigerate and serve as dessert.

lol ya...hmm let's see *lifts you up and sits sits you on the table and removes your stillettos*'re just lazy aren't ya lolz?! :P

*puts chef hat on runs to stove ...slips breaks eggs ....spills milk ...rips sugar bag...pouts at shoes* friggin shoes ...never try to make bread pudding with stillettos darling *giggles*
