Camarones A La Criolla


1 pound cleaned shrimp

3 coriander leaves

1 onion

1 green pepper

1 tomato

1 tablespoon sofrito

6 stuffed olives

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 packet of Sazon with achiote

2 tablespoons oil

1 / 4 cup water

salt and pepper to taste


In a jump start to fry the oil over medium heat then add the onion, green pepper and tomato, chopped into bits small. Wait 10 minutes and add the fried olives, crushed garlic, chopped cilantro, the envelope of seasoning, sauce, shrimp and water prior clean. Mix all ingredients, cover the pan and cook for about 25 minutes or until sauce thickens to a medium heat.


this is really easy to make and taste really good hope you guys like it   =)

The olives gives them flavor I don't like them either but since they are big I put them to the side and eat the rest

okay. i will. do you think it matters to skip on the olives? i'm not so big on those... hehe

I'm going to try this recipe though. It sounds yummy.

Me neither... I've tried a few that seemed good, but the sauce is always the problem. It has good flavor, but turns out to be too salty for me. Maybe I'm just mixing the sauce wrong, but I've tried it pretty much any way I could think of. I'm pretty much addicted. lol. And would be glad to find one I can make at home. Probably not a good idea though. :)

I'm kind of picky when it comes to cooking, I like buffalo wings but haven't found the one that catches my eye yet

That looks really good. Anything with garlic and onion I'm on board. lol. Oh, and shrimp are one of my favorites. :) <br />
