On Top of the World

is where it happened.

I had envisioned having the experience many years before my trip but my thoughts brought about an experience greater than I expected.

When I flew over the Himalayas and looked out the window  I made a wish: "Hope I have enough guts to follow through and make this happen."  No, I did not climb Mt. Everest but came close to the base camp.  I walked out to an area that came to a point and  straddled it.  I prayed I wouldn't lose my footing and held my breath, sat down, took a deep breath and several more followed.  For twenty minutes I sat and meditated.  I felt light as a feather.  I like to "go back" and visit that spot from time to time.

Time well spent.
