I Love to Fish Trout!

Just walking along a clear fast moving trout stream in a dark forest is nice enough. But wading into that stream and getting one on the line is exciting. The way they fight what a rush. The fast fighting brown. The quick little brook trout. The cunning rainbow. And when you land them and study the beautiful clors of the fish.Trout have smoother scales than most fish and it feels like rough skin. The asad part is(and it does make me kind of sad when it happens)the beautiful colors quickly fade as the fish becomes weaker and weaker. Then when you claen them and get them home that beautiful red meat. The smell as they cook with some lemon and butter. The rich taste of fresh caught trout, almost like salmon(they are in the same family of fish).I truly love this sport of kings. And it takes some time to master the art of out thinking these kings of the stream.

An inspiring story!:) I can't wait to get back at 'em. I know some good spots for sea-trout in th autumn too.<BR>Try stuffing with a few of whatever fresh herbs you have or like, plus flaked almonds, and poach in white wine. A few leaves of spinache will wilt nicely inside the fish too.
