Why I Love to Write

A reason for my love of writing, may be an idea I had when I was younger. Everyone wanted to be a policeman or a doctor or something. And I've always loved being different. I loved to read, already, and I thought, "Hey- why don't I write my own stories for a change?" So I do. I have so many ideas.

Another reason, why I'm so sure, that when I'm maybe a little bit older, I will publish my own book, might be because, people keep telling me things like, "Most authors don't get paid much- you'll be really poor... I feel sorry for you, if you want Ill give you some of my money when I'm an actress!" And I get so annoyed. What makes them sure to become an actress, when they don't even try to do acting, or join drama or anything, when I'm already determined to become an author?

So I guess, I'm trying to prove them all wrong.

There are 3 more reasons. One, because I love the idea, of making another world- an imaginary world, and putting all your emotions into writing. To tell people exactly what you think, without having to tell them anything personal about yourself. To make them understand you, with words that you can just write. Two, is because I'm not confident when talking. I mumble a lot, and trip over my words since I'm not confident at all.

And lastly- I've always wanted to be known. Not famous, but known. So people can pick up a good book (not excellent, but worth a read) and say: "Oh- she wrote this! Shes a good writer!" I don't want all the photographers, and reporters surrounding me, like they do to celebrities... I don't want my life, written by someone else, with lies printed on every page. I just want to be there. I want to be a someone, not just the girl at school who is too scared to say anything, but too smart to join in with the silly happenings at school.

I want to be me, and I want people to recognize my talents.
