A Good Little Dish You Are

Tori is one of the most enjoyable artists to see live.  It is like getting to see a combination piano prodigy concert hall performance mixed with a crude lyrical master.  Her beautiful stage and lively outfits along with cutesy body movements are also a plus.  I saw her live in a medium sized venue last night.  I went with someone that I love and that loves me.  It was the first time that has happened.  I really get a kick out of doing an activity that is inspiring with someone you care about.  She didn't disappoint and she never does.  The opening band was one Eskimo and they are a music talent all their own.  I actually started crying during one of their songs.  It seemed strange and then I realized my girlfriend was crying too.  The thing I love most about Tori is that I see her as a Renaissance woman, meaning she is talented in multiple fields.  She writes well, sings well, and plays the piano.  To create the beauty she creates really does require all 3.  I kept thinking about humanity.  Here we are with our two arms, two legs, and animal nature.  We have achieved a new level when a human like her has come into existence.

I am sooooooooo Jealous- I've wanted to see tori live for a long time now, but you know life, money all those things. Tori's music has always been very healing and emotional for me... i can only imagine how it would be live (maybe someday)

I completely agree. It's such a wonderful experience to see her in concert, and I'm thrilled to be able to go to one of her shows this year! Not only are you attending a concert for a talented singer/songwriter/pianist, but a woman whose music reaches out to you and lets you know that you're not alone in what you feel. I think that's what I love most about Tori. :)

yes, she is awesome :)
