But I'm Only In Love With One...

So basically to make a long story short, me and my ex boyfriend had been dating for a year and a half before we broke up. I broke up with him because our relationship was like a rollercoaster. One week we were together and the next we weren't. All we did was argue and fight and it was unhealthy so I broke up with him and less than a week later I met another guy. This new guy is too good to be true. He is literally the male version of myself and our connection is so strong. The only problem I have is that my ex boyfriend is still in the picture. He's my best friend and I would never just cut him off but lines have to be crossed somewhere. I just need to make a decision...

It might be crappy for me to say this, but when it comes down to relationships, you have to make selfish decisions at times. I understand that you don't want to hurt your ex. If he truly cares about you though, he'll just have to man up and prove that he cares by allowing you to move on. The pain that he will feel is a challenge for him to conquer, not you. I know that you care for him, but you shouldn't have to sacrifice your happiness. If you and the new guy is as compatible as you say you are, and if you do have strong feelings for him, don't miss out on it because you're worried about other people around you.
