It Scared My Parents...

My parents were deeply disturbed by my love for vampires which began when I was young child. They didn't know how to react when I used to declare myself a vampire, pretend to burn in the sun, and pretend that my red kool aid was rat's blood ( I got that after seeing Interview with a Vampire). I still make a hobby of immersing myself in anything Vampire. I even liked Twilight, until it caught on and millions of screaming girls just discovering how awesome vampires are annoyed the **** outta me. Sorry. I still wish I was a vampire though...

Wanna join my clan?

sorry but sparkling vampires just don't appeal to me at all i'm more into the traditional vampires the one's that burn in the sun light i hate twilight i like buffy's vampires better and i am pretty sure spike would kick edwards *** i love vampires and i would love to be a vampire i mean you get to live forever never get sick never age and have super strength that would be so cool to me i am a vampire lover and have been for a long time vampires rock :)

I prefer Lycans over vampires. I love wolves. They're awesome.

I really need a girlfriend

Kitty's are adorable :)

I hope so.

Really now? That's interesting.

Just don't drive yourself crazy, okay? :)

I agree :)

Get as much rest as you can, okay sweetie?

And it is!

Oh, I like that. "Paralysis of analysis."
It's a vice? Wow.

I suppose we are :)

Congratulations! It would be best to rest your eyes for a while...

I will. It's good stuff, I hope you'll like it :)

Yes, I'll admit insight to someones else's thoughts is quite interesting sometimes.
Your own thoughts trouble you? Are you an over-thinker?

Oh, good. The thought has perished :)

Haha! Indeed she has!

What?! It's delicious, and usually served with buffalo wings.

I can see that. Good to know :)

:)

Oh...I was wondering, perhaps you decided our conversation was over.

Truly? Okay then, it's my new superpower :)

Great :)

It is most certainly right. I've got some tricks up my sleeve...

I as well :)

Truly :)

I don't think so...

Okay. But we should have blue cheese dressing on the side :)

Yeah, I'm just a bundle of surprises ;)

Yes we do.

Ah, and so you must take the good and the bad that comes with having an extraordinary memory.
I sadly don't have any superpowers...

Yes you did ;)

Why chicken wings?

Tell you about the previous times I heard the phrase "sexy man-beast"? Um, it was last year and I was obsessed with Paul Banks and my friend was obsessed with Anthony Kiedis. My friend and I were the ones actually using it...

Geez, I wish I had that superpower. I have a selective memory.

Wow :)

Alright then :)

No, no. Not at all :)

"Sexy-man beast"? I haven't heard that in a while :)

I see. You're a fountain of miscellaneous knowledge, aren't you?

Why not? Proceed :)

Oh it's at the end. Just listen hard, you can't miss it :)

Well, I don't want you to be turned off by my rowdy behavior. Yelling obscenities at the tele is not lady-like behavior ;)

I think so too :)

"Fjord" you say? You can name all of the archipelagos? Impressive.
I'm so happy you enjoyed it. My other favorite part of that is the ending, when he sings the line "Red Goddess, White Goddess, Black Temptress of the sea you treat me right" and alternates the colors. I'm such a sucker for Interpol :)

Head-bangingly awesome? That man must be extremely talented :)

That's all I ask :)

Alright then :)

This has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I've recently been associating Norway with romance. I know, it's odd but it's because of that song "Take you on a Cruise" by Interpol. There is this one line that goes "Oh my love we are sailing to Norway, Oh my love we're leaving tonight". Damn you Paul Banks! He could sing about anything and I would find it romantic.

Yeah, that's how I felt before I actually took the time to watch it.
I've been told my yelling at the TV is quite entertaining. As long as you have a good UFC fight for me to watch, it won't take long for me to make a complete a** out of myself in front of you :)

Who would you be working out for? I can support you if you're doing it for yourself, but if your decision had anything to do with me I would feel bad.
It's not necessary.

Indeed. Colleges like Miami-Dade and Central are okay for others- we just prefer something different :)

A sport like Nordic shuffleboard originated in Scotland, not Norway? I’m afraid I don’t understand.

Definitely, I must say, I used to think the sport was disgusting. I believe I referred to it as "Barbaric human c*** fighting." Until I sat down and watched it. I get really invested in the fights. I sit, stand, clap, even yell at TV occasionally.

Don't fret. UFC fighters of that caliber put almost every man to shame ;)

I think it's more about convenience for them. But I can't blame them. My friend Izzy (Tearofanangel) is going to CCSU and her brother is the guy I mentioned before who gets paid to go there. To be fair CCSU is making an effort to become a more credible school. Still, it's just not for me.

I've seen a news blurb or two about curling. I can't imagine what made it an Olympic sport. I'm sure it has to be a rather interesting story though :)

Um. Yeah I suppose it does get rather homoerotic...but that's not why I love it.
I truly admire the conditioning, discipline, and talent of these fighters. They work so hard and their passion for the sport is amazing--clearly evident in the way they fight.

It also doesn't hurt that some of them are really attractive.
Roger Huerta, Forrest Griffin, and Georges St-Pierre anyone?

On the cryptic side I see...
Would you care to elaborate?

Vincent? Let me guess, Vincent Valentine? How curious.

FYI - I'm no Lucrecia.

You and my Father seem to be the only other people who agree with me :)

I've never seen the Iron Man competition, but I did watch the Beijing Olympics.
Good things? And what are these good things you hear?

I'm glad we're on the same page :)

Well, CCSU is less than 15 minutes away. I have some close friends going there and as I said before, I do so well in school they would give me more than enough money to attend. Thing is, anyone who doesn't flunk out of high school could go to Central. It's only one step up from Tunis Community College. I worked too hard to just settle for a place like that.

I don't either, I just watch TV.
Wait I take that back. I do love one sport and one sport only...The UFC :)

Sad thing is, I don't think I could stop if I tried ;)

I only applied to one school and got in with just my grades and college resume. I know a few people who actually get paid to attend CCSU. I would have been one, but I hate that school with a passion.

I remember the Superbowl commercials..."You've just won the Superbowl! What will you do next?" "Were going to Disneyworld!"

WHAT?! You haven't experience the adrenaline pumping terror that is the Tower of Terror!!!
I...I cannot...I can't speak to you anymore... :)

Did you apply anywhere else, or just to UM?

Oh, it's fine. I used to do the same thing. I love the Tower of Terror and that Aerosmith roller coaster...I forget its name.

May I ask how so? Are you a vampire fan as well?

I might just take you up on that offer Mr. Dred :)

Sounds nice. I'm positive that no one I like will join me at St. Joseph's.

Oh, I understand.
You've been to Disneyland? I've have always wanted to go there. I've vacationed in Disney World though, it was unforgettable.

I love the way it smells outside when it rains, especially in North Carolina.
My father gets annoyed with me every time it rains because I open the windows to let the smell in.

I’m sure I will. I enjoy your writing.

Sounds like your friends were a lot of fun :)

How curious. So you became prone to motion sickness after high school, correct? I wonder why that happened...

In case you were wondering, I took the pictures on Monday as I said I would. Remember I told you that I was hoping for nice weather? Well, it was mild, dark and rainy the entire day then out of nowhere it started to snow. Not light snow, but violent snowfall and hail! (New England weather...it always surprises me) Plus my friend who took the picture focused more on the scenery and less on me. Long story short, they’re no good. I’m doing retakes.

I plan to :)

Yeah, it's still unbelievable to me. I adore my school, it is the best resource I could ever have.
What was your favorite part of high school?

Swinging makes you dizzy for days? How strange. I like the wind through my hair and the repetitive motion of swinging :)

My father likes to play that card also :)
Its okay, I’m sure he’s a fine man, just like my father. We’re just venting :)

I adore my school, perhaps not the students but the school itself is wonderful. It’s a private catholic college preparatory high school in West Hartford. Students from all over the state attend NWC, the majority being very affluent, the sons and daughters of lawyers, doctors, business tycoons etc. My father could only afford it because I was awarded several different grants and scholarships (I find that people assume everyone in Connecticut is a rich snob simply because we reside in the richest state, which is complete blasphemy).
The school is rather small, only around 700 people including faculty. We have a chapel, an auditorium, a theater, 2 separate gyms, a track, a football field, and a baseball field. Every summer they renovate a different section of the school. Freshman year they did a complete renovation of the library and technology center. It’s wonderful; I spend most of my free periods there. There’s also a courtyard right next to the cafeteria that only seniors are allowed access to, a vast field to the left that is used as a practice lot for various sports teams, and a playground across the street. The playground is quite a nice place to go in the summer, just after you’ve taken a particularly draining final. I enjoy swinging, it’s very soothing :)
Oh, there’s a McDonalds and a Starbucks within walking distance, that’s always a plus :)

My height is probably the one thing about myself that I don't feel the need to pick at :) I'm taller than my mother and both of my grandmothers.

I suppose. But if they just be still and let someone else speak for a change...

I just hope it's going to be as warm as they predict it will be on Monday. (I want to take the picture outside)

It is :)

He sounds like my father. He likes to think that he's never wrong.

No, I don't mind.

I myself am 5'5''.

That's sounds about right :) I already catch myself sounding identical to my Father, and it's even worse when he's there to hear it because then he teases me about it. It's too funny.

I aim for honesty :)

I'm not... what will I wear?! Just kidding.
I'm going to wear my uniform or my school logo t-shirt and jeans...NWCHS Pride!

The general vicinity of 132? That’s not much...how tall are you?

Dads are special...I enjoy being a Daddy’s Girl, most of the time :) I suppose that’s natural in some cases, right? One would strive to be nothing like their parents, only to realize somewhere in their adulthood that they drastically failed.

Yeah? I wish I was always this certain :) It comes and goes.

Nope. We have. I’m just overly critical when it comes to having my picture taken. I’m working on it :)

Maybe. I never met anyone who has escaped the freshmen 15 so far :)

Strange. I never noticed until you mentioned it but yes, I love him very much :)

I am right :)

Geez, cut to the chase will you? Soon I suppose. I haven't started trying on any dresses so... I guess I would have to take a picture specifically for you :)

Yeah. "You never know what you've got until it's gone" :) Now that you mention it, I do believe my Father has mentioned that same thing to me. It obviously has a entirely different meaning for me though.

I choose to believe the latter :)

Indeed;)

Yeah, luck you. It's the exact opposite as the firstborn female. Although I must say, I'm spoiled so it is not all that bad :)

I'm not entirely positive how to respond. I cannot believe you're as socially awkward as you describe.
But yes, I imagine you could :)

I know he only wants to protect me and I love him endlessly...seriously though, sometimes enough is enough.
You don't have to, only if you want :)

Good. I'm glad :)

You truly are...maybe you should lay off those articles until you become a little less astute. Then again, I don't think that's possible :)

I concur. There both on entirely different levels :)

I mean, “On my case” in the sense that he is viciously overprotective. I swear, sometimes I imagine watching over me is his hobby. A lot of his suspicion comes simply from that fact that I’m my mother’s daughter. You should read my story “Human Lie Detector”, if you’re curious.
To be completely honest, I’m almost positive my Father wouldn’t approve if he find out I was on this site. But I figure, in a little under a fortnight, he really won’t have a say in what websites I choose to visit :)

Well, I tried :)
Mm...Synonyms aren’t necessary here. I think I get the gist :)

Geez.....You’re so close it’s eerie :)

Yes. I did :) I didn't know the desire to be a furry could be turned on and off. I suppose it could be hobby. Similar to playing a weekend game of golf at the club. One could return home from work, have dinner with the family, then slip into his tiger costume to take an evening stroll :)

Of course, I'm fully aware of the consequences of having a big heart :) I suppose that is one of the reasons why my Father is always on my case :)

Absolutely...I thought I was pretty transparent. I wouldn't take the time to write to you everyday unless I liked you.

I hate to toot my own horn, but yeah, the cutest :)

A costume? Well that makes sense, if sense could be applied to this conversation at all. Don't get me wrong though, it's fascinating :)

I will :)

Mmmm... if anything I would find you annoying occasionally, but I myself have negative qualities as well. One being that I am far too stubborn to completely give up on anyone. Take for example, my "friends" I told you about. I'll never stop caring about them, the same with my mother :)
The bottom line is I like you, and I say... that you are as wonderful as you seem :)

Thank you. You made me a very happy girl :)

How curious. Now I wonder, what was that tail attached too? You're right, if he can't he might as well get a 9 to 5 :)

Maybe I will :) Spring is coming, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I'm glad to tell you :) I'm sorry for you past experiences, but I have a question for you. Are you truly anywhere as wonderful as you seem?

Really? I do?
You have the same effect on me :)

You say when? When? Is that possible? Well then, body modification has come full circle boys and girls. Dream Big :)

Your description reminds me of a skirt I owned a few years back :) Who knows where it is now, but it was quite pretty :)
Perhaps...but it's harmless ;)

That is true...
What I wish to say is I make a conscious effort to avoid most loss. I don't want to trick you.

Your welcome :)

Yes...the key word is almost :)

Funny you should say that :) I concur, they are more sophisticated :)

Well, who else would I be? Keeping up with a charade is far to much hassle :)
How very smooth :)

Well, his appearance may be be the only original thing about him :)

Yes, I suppose it is :)

Mmmm... don't. You'd just be humoring me :)

A Google search sufficed :) It turns out the fellow's name is Lizardman. I can see he put a lot of thought into it :)

We have a uniform policy, but that doesn't stop us girls from tailoring our skirts ;)

Glad to hear it. No need to dwell on the past :)

That sounds quite exciting :) I'm not sure if it's safe to assume so...may I ask whose "we"?

Really? How curious. I want to see this...lizard man.

I too enjoy all the attractive people, who doesn't?
You know, there happens to be an overwhelming number of attractive people at my high school. I was once friends with a girl who looked liked exactly like Jessica Simpson :)
I'm sorry about the dramatic recent events in your life. I understand how exhausting those can be.

I'm sure it would be :)
I wonder though, how many people in the same state will they find before they come across you?

Why thank you :)
I wonder though, what do you think someone with the desire to be more reptile-like could do to make that dream a reality? Could they transform their skin to become...scaly? Is that possible?

That’s true. You know, I happen to enjoy a good mind-numbing teen movie on occasions :)

Well, I must say...that’s a hell of a way to go :)

Pardon? Screw On Whiskers ?! When you say body modification I think of tattoos, gauged ears and tongue splitting. Apparently, I think too small :)

I find it funny that the emo subculture is all about being original, when they all act and dress unquestionably similar :)

I suppose being drunk in the face of death does make the event a tad easier :)

Well, I guess we are in the same boat SerenaDragonfly :)
Twilight is a touchy subject for me. I truly did enjoy it until pop culture dug it's claws into it, turned it into a huge franchise, and started selling "Cullen Family Crest" jewelery at Hot Topic. The nerve.

I'm sitting here laughing because I know exactly how you feel. My mom was always freaked out by my love of vampires. I was really obsessed with them growing up. I'm not as obsessed with them as I used to be but I still love them. I like Twilight too (liked it before it was popular) and am a little annoyed at how pop culture its become. I am not a pop culture person so it bugs me thats what the screaming fan girls have turned it into.

I suppose they are fairly normal. Although I have seen discovery channel specials of the sort, I never heard of anyone like that. I imagine it must have been a sight :)

As for my feminine wiles... I'm not sure how to respond. They may need honing because I never get very far :)

Hilarious! Yes, I it would be just like that. Although I must say, emos are intriguing...how do they get their jeans so tight?!

No, I have never heard of that folk solution for slug infestation. It's hard not to feel bad, knowing that somewhere out in the world...slugs are dying a slow death. At least I imagine slugs drown slowly... they don't seem much for thrashing around, trying to stay afloat.
Perhaps I'm over thinking :)

No... I just want to see what their lives are like :) If I happen to ensnare a poor vampire with my feminine wiles...well that cannot be helped :)

I couldn't stand it if he was a goth.

Ha! Fruit flies... who knew :)

Thank you for turning me on to these websites :)

No, no I do not know any vampires personally, but as I said in my story, I simply enjoy immersing myself in anything vampire. However, I do dream of visiting one of these communities after my birthday. Who I choose to accompany me is a whole other obstacle. Everyone I know thinks its a dangerous and ludicrous plan.

I concur, Lestat did steal the show:) As a child I thought Lestat was the coolest, I mean, a vampire rock star! Whoa! Now the idea seems just a little bit cheesy :)

You get more bees honey than vinegar ;)

Thank you for telling me about that comedy website, I took a look at it. It was a riot :)

Yes, Susan Welsh had a great impact on the Vampire Community. In fact, her disappearance caused them to change the first rule of the Black Veil (their Ten Commandments, if you will). The grand rule that once was “secrecy” has now become “Discretion”, focusing on sharing their lifestyle with the right people, trustworthy people.
I saw “Queen of the Damned” sometime ago and although it wasn’t my favorite vampire film, the main character, Lestat was easy on the eyes ;)

Simply put, I give praise where praise is due :)

The Japanese creation myth? I believe it centers around all the elements and one "germ of life" correct? Well are you familiar with the Japanese legend about why a young woman gets her period? That one is pretty.. .outlandish to say the least. I tried to research it but I couldn't find any information on it, however, I read about that myth in "The History of Manga" therefore it must be true.

These Vampire Communities are dangerous in the sense that a reporter, Susan Welsh, was sticking her nose where it didn't belong and she disappeared. Some say she was killed, others believe she is hiding...but either way she was never seen again.

Thank you. I appreciate your choice of diction as well :)

Mmm. The literal meaning of "Pennagolan" is “head with dancing intestines”... enough said :) Tell me kind Sir, are you familiar with the ways of the modern, living vampires of today? I tell you there are obviously not as glamorous as the films portray but every ounce as dangerous. Does the name Susan Welsh mean anything to you?

I say... "odd" as a pleasant diversion form the bore that is ordinary... I wish to meet more people such as yourself, because where I'm from "odd" is not so pleasant.

Neck aficionado. Such a luxurious term, but yes, I believe you can count me among the ranks.

Whoa... I love anything Japanese but I did not know that. As for the reason for my affinity... well I really could not tell you. That's the peculiar part about it. I have been enthralled by vampires ever since childhood, so call me odd. Oh, and necks are quite lovely.

Oh, of course I understand the vampire has gone through quite the evolution since it's first origins. I am familiar with these older myths (did you know the Mexican version of vampires didn't actually have heads, only bare skulls?) and that it wasn't until Bram Stoker's Dracula that the basis of the modern vampire came to be. Yes the vampire was rather ghoulish...yet still so fascinating.
