Soft and Cool

I can't really explain my dislike for shoes, I just never liked the way they felt. I like to be able to feel the ground beneath my feet, especially sand, rocks, dirt, gravel and such. Walking in the forest can be just as rewarding with the cool earth and the leaves crunching beneath my feet. When I was in college I had a job as a park ranger and since the dress code wasn't very strict on footwear, I used to take the opportunity to work barefoot as much as possible.

Wow, you sound like me, dear. I had a job in a pizzaria in college and the boss wasn't strict about anything, because she was hardly ever around. I would work in the kitchen in my bare feet and hope the Board of Health wouldn't make a surprise visit. Pizza making was really hot work and being barefoot made it bearable.

have you ever walked in animal poop

Good for u. Barefoot gals are so sexy.

My husband agrees. I was one of those college girls who never wore shoes if the weather was warm, and always took them off at parties. I think my barefoot habit initially attracted him to me.
