I Love Walking Through Graveyards and Reading the Headstones
Several years ago, a relative of mine passed away after batteling stomach cancer. Since he lived in Connecticut, I have a few great memories of him. The last I had of him was a few months before his passing (my parents and I knew it would be the last time we would see him alive). Despite his illness, had great exuberance and excitement to bring me and my family to Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport (he lived in the Bridgeport suburb) to see many of the famous notables buried here, including (but not limited to) circus entrepeneur PT Barnum and General Tom Thumb. His funeral was held at a church near his home, and his burial was, fitingly, at the last place I shared my last memory with him -- Mountain Grove Cemetery.
