Who Would Have Thought It

As an  Australian, the kangaroo has always been there in my consciousness somehow but until I got this orphaned wallaby joey to take care of, I never knew very much about them really.

Now, after more than three months of being this dear little creature's "foster Mum", watching her grow and develop,  reading about them and watching movies to learn more about their behaviour, I am totally fascinated by them. I would have to say that apart from human babies, there is nothing in the world cuter than a baby kangaroo and that apart from having my own babies, caring for this one has been the most special experience of my life.

I'm a wildlife carer and have a Euro Walleroo who is now almost 9 months old. They are the most trusting and loveable little things ever. They truly are the most amaizing experience one could ever have!

This sounds like such an awesome experience something I can only dream about or watch on tv.

but is she still making the messes on the floor? :P
