"The Bar-Tailed Godwit, a pacific coastal bird, makes flights of more then 7,000 miles without stopping to eat!" This quote is from Ripley's Belive it or not...DD

Ha! A 19 year old male and a 34 year old female is about right.
I remember my biological teacher saying that 19 was when males reach there peak and 34 was when females reached there peak. Wow. Peak what, I don’t recall it has been so long…DD

Having with you is a blessing , my first born 19 has a girlfriend of 34 !!! spends most of his time at her place !!

Second has just joined the army cadets !!!

I KNOW! I also have two sons.
One is going to collage and still lives with us. If I didn’t love him so much…Ha!... Most of the time I am happy that he is still with us. That is far better then
being remote and not staying in touch…DD

Well I am the father of two sons , and life his given me no greater pleasure than watch those boys grow up ....

Just wish they would tidy their rooms ....

And put their dirty washing in the basket instead of the floor .....

Shall I continue DD ?

We males do enjoy planting those seeds!

Now if just more of us would stick around for at least 18+ years to help with the growing up of the child.

I have to say this because I am a retired High School Teacher and every year I saw young girls get pregnant and the boy refused or was unable to help. Very sad…DD

Well it,s our job to encourage them as much as we can DD ;)

Thanks for the interesting fact about the Atlantic salmon.
I love the Discovery channel for these kinds of stories. I have always been curious about nature, including human nature!
Ha! The fact that women/mothers want to have a second baby, after going through the pain of the first, is amazing to me...DD

Fasinating DD ......

DYN .... that the Atlantic salmon I catch from the river Findhorn , spend the first three years in fresh water , then head to Greenland returning sometimes after two years to the very pool they hatched from a journey they attempt at least two or three times in their lifetime , all the amazing when you consider that they do eat when they enter the river ..... :)

I am very impressed with humans ability to adapt and grow to meet there target goals. We have come a long ways in the last 5,000 years, 500 years and greater still the last 50 years!…DD

Wow, that is one extreme diet!

wow I can't even go 7 mile with out a snack
